Brendan A. Dunphy

 Brendan A. Dunphy is an associate at Bremer Buckner. He represents clients in a wide range of family matters, including divorce, child support, custody and parenting time, and alimony.

Before joining Bremer Buckner, Mr. Dunphy served as Law Clerk to the Honorable David V. Calviello, J.S.C., in the Bergen County Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part, where he worked on post-judgment matrimonial matters, non-dissolution matters, domestic violence matters, and matters involving alleged contempt of restraining orders. In June 2025, he was admitted to practice in New Jersey.

Prior to his experience in the courthouse, Mr. Dunphy earned his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law in 2024. There, he represented clients from BU and MIT in intellectual property matters as part of the Student Innovations Law Clinic. As a Research Assistant, he researched and wrote on various topics, including Antitrust law, Trademark law, and the legal landscape surrounding recreational waivers of liability.

Mr. Dunphy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy as well as a minor in Business Administration from Boston University. In his free time, Mr. Dunphy enjoys playing the drums and guitar.
